Cargotec Port Security LLC is working on the new frontier of advanced port security. SafePort™ technology from Cargotec is mounted on standard container handling equipment to scan containers for radiological materials during normal port operations. SafePort™ solutions eliminate current security gaps (such as at transshipment terminals), without slowing the velocity of commerce. SafePort™ solutions can also be mounted on mobile vessels to scan ships, and on trucks to evaluate containers as they approach the terminal.
