Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling solutions has received several ship crane orders during July-August 2006. The orders consist of 55 ship cranes, which will be delivered during 2007-2008. The total value of the orders is approximately EUR 15 million.
The ship cranes will be delivered to vessels being built at various ship yards in Asia. Of the ordered ship cranes 44 will be delivered to container vessels being built at Chinese ship yards. The order also includes six bulk handling cranes for an Indian ship yard and three scrap handling cranes and two ship cranes for a logistics company in Singapore.
