Cargotec Receives RoRo order from South Korea

Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling solutions has received a RoRo equipment order from Korean Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for four Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). The PCTSs that will be delivered to the world's largest car carrier operator Wallenius are the biggest in kind in the world today. The order value is approximately EUR 15 million.
 
The order consists of 95.000 sqm of complete car decks, 56 ramps and 16 doors ready to be installed to the four vessels. Delivery will be completed by end of 2008. The vessels that can carry up to 8,000 units will be built at DSME Okpo ship yard.
