Kalmar, the business area providing container handling solutions within Cargotec, made an agreement to acquire its Belgian distributor Catracom in September 2006. Catracom employs approximately 100 people and had net sales of approximately EUR 70 million in 2005.
The necessary competition authority approvals, to which the acquisition was subject to, have been received and the transaction has been closed.
