Christer Granskog Elected as EU-party Chairman of the Working Group on Development of Multimodality and Containerisation

Christer Granskog, the President of Kalmar that is part of Cargotec Corporation has been elected today as the EU-party Chairman of the Working Group on Development of Multimodality and Containerisation. The working group operates under the EU-Russia Industrialists' Round Table (IRT). The election was made in IRT's 8th annual meeting in Helsinki, Finland.
The Working Group operates as part of the Transport Industry Task Force (TITF). Its responsibility is to develop multimodal transportation, container traffic and container terminals between European Union and Russia. The traffic is mostly from Central Europe, Poland and Belarus to Russia and from Russia to China, Kazakhstan and Far East.
