Cargotec Receives Offshore Equipment Orders Worth Approximately EUR 60 Million

Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling and offshore solutions, has during August and September received offshore equipment orders worth approximately EUR 60 million. The orders include among others six cranes to be delivered for offshore vessels which will be built at Davie Yards in Canada and deck machinery for 4 barges and 4 offshore maintenance work vessels which will be built at Nam Cheong Dockyard in Malaysia.
 
The cranes to be delivered during year 2009 for Davie shipyard will be manufactured in Norway. Two of the cranes are knuckle-boom offshore cranes with Active Heave Compensation (AHC), two are knuckle-boom offshore/subsea cranes and the last two are deck cranes. The value of the order is approximately EUR 15 million. The deck machinery to be delivered for Nam Cheong Dockyard during 2008-2009 will be manufactured in Asia. The value of the order is approximately EUR 8 million.
