Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling and offshore solutions, has during November received significant offshore equipment orders. The equipment will be delivered during 2009-2010 and the value of the orders exceeds EUR 50 million.
The orders consist, among others, of two Hydramarine cranes equipped with Active Heave Compensation (AHC) systems. The cranes will be delivered for an offshore vessel ordered by a Norwegian ship owner and will be manufactured in Kristiansand, Norway. In addition, four Hydramarine AHC cranes will be delivered for offshore vessels ordered by ship owners in Germany and in India. These four cranes will be manufactured in Singapore.
