A total number of 63,945 new class B shares have been subscribed with Cargotec option rights that were granted as part of the demerged Kone Corporation's year 2004 option program. The amount of 2005A and 2005B option rights used for share subscription was 12,400 and 8,915 respectively. The subscriptions increase Cargotec's share capital by EUR 63,945. The share capital increase has been entered in the trade register on December 21, 2007 and trading in the shares together with the old shares will begin on December 27, 2007.
Cargotec's share capital after the increase totals EUR 64,220,373. The amount of class B shares after the subscription is 54 694 284 shares. The number of class A shares remains unchanged at 9,526,089 shares. The new shares will entitle to all shareholder rights from the registration date December 21, 2007.
Each Cargotec option right entitles the holder to subscribe for three Cargotec class B shares. The share subscription price according to the terms of the option program is EUR 8.59 per share. After this share capital increase, a total of 188,637 class B shares remain to be subscribed for with 2005A and 2005B option rights, which corresponds to a share capital increase of EUR 188,637. Share subscription period with 2005A option rights ends on March 31, 2008 and with 2005B option rights on March 31, 2009.
