Cargotec receives a significant order for specialized load handling equipment in the USA

Cargotec has received a significant order to deliver a total of 292 HIAB loader cranes to BAE Systems Inc. in the USA. Delivery of the equipment will start during the first quarter of 2009, with most of the deliveries taking place during 2009. The end user of the equipment is the US Army.

The new crane type HIAB 222ATF-1 is specifically designed for the US Army's Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) wrecker vehicles. It represents the most modern load handling technology for military use in extreme operating conditions.
