Cargotec to supply cargo-handling cranes and hatch covers to China for six container ships

Cargotec has received over EUR 10 million order for the supply of MacGREGOR cargo-handling cranes and lift-away hatch covers for a series of six 3,100 TEU container ships under construction at Chinese shipyard Rongcheng Shenfei Shipbuilding Co ltd. Delivery of the equipment will be 2010 - 2012.

 

MacGREGOR's supply for each vessel includes four GL cranes, one LC cylinder luffing crane, design and key components for 30 hatch cover panels. The cranes will be manufactured at  MacGREGOR's partner plant in China.
