The flexibility of Cargotec's rental agreements prove popular in Sweden

Cargotec, the world's leading provider of load handling solutions, has signed two rental contracts with customers servicing railway terminals in Sweden. Baneservice Logistik AB and ISS TraffiCare AB recently won tenders to operate Swedish rail terminals. The two companies turned to Cargotec to fulfil their equipment needs and both opted for rental agreements which offer the ultimate in machine availability as well as predictable cost structures.

Baneservice Logistik, the largest contractor of railway infrastructure service in Norway, is expanding its terminal operation services to the Swedish market. The company has agreed to lease two Kalmar DRF450 reachstackers, one Kalmar TT612d terminal tractor and one Kalmar 7-tonne forklift. The equipment will be deployed at Baneservice Logistik's rail terminal in Gothenburg, Sweden. The agreement was made in quarter four 2009 with the contract taking effect in quarter one 2010.
ISS TraffiCare, one of the world's biggest facility service and outsourcing companies and an experienced partner in providing rail support services within Sweden, has agreed to lease six Kalmar DRF450 reachstackers and three Kalmar TT612d terminal tractors. The equipment will be used between its three Swedish rail terminals in Stockholm, Jonkoping and Umea. The agreement was made in quarter one 2010 and will take effect during the same period.
