Bromma Conquip’s Board of Directors to change
Christer Granskog, President and CEO of Bromma Conquip’s sister company Kalmar Industries, has been named as the new Chairman of the Board of Bromma Conquip. The new appointment follows the resignation of some of Bromma Conquip’s key board members including the former Chairman of the Board, Carl-Gustaf Bergström. The new appointment also follows a period of restructuring within the parent company, Partek Corporation. Terry Howell’s position as President and CEO of the Bromma Group is unaffected by the changes.

Bromma Conquip and Kalmar Industries will continue to function as separate operating companies each with its own distinct brand, marketing and customer relationship organisations. Bromma Conquip will take the lead in the production of spreaders for both brands, Bromma Conquip and Kalmar Industries.

Notes to the editor:

Bromma manufactures telescopic spreaders at dedicated factories in Sweden, the United States, Malaysia and Poland. In addition it also has offices in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.
Bromma’s historic commitment to product innovation has resulted in a series of industry “firsts” including: the first telescopic spreader; the first twin-lift spreader; the first all-electric yard crane spreader; the Impact-Noise Reduction System (INRS); an industry-standard safety system, the twin-twenty detection system (TTDS); the memory positioning system (MPS); the spreader control system (SCS2); and the new Tandem™ line of spreaders capable of twin-40ft container handling. It currently has more telescopic spreaders in service than all its competitors’ have combined
