Kalmar Industries and Still GmbH have entered into a co-operation agreement whereby Kalmar will manufacture forklift trucks for Still at its factory in Ljungby, Sweden. Specifically, the arrangement covers internal combustion (IC) trucks within a capacity range of 6 - 8 tonnes and electric trucks in the range 5.5 - 8 tonnes. Still will deliver parts and components to Sweden and production of these OEM machines will start at the beginning of 2004.
Still will sell these products under its own name in its established markets through its own extended sales network.
