The recently delivered 8,000gt ferry Stena Trader has entered service for Stena Line BV between Hook of Holland and Killingholme. It is the first of two 212m RoPax ordered from Fosen Mekaniske Verksteder in Norway, and features a RoRo access equipment outfit from MacGREGOR.

The Stena Seabridger-class vessel has a cargo capacity of 3,100 lane metres and can carry 300 passengers. Fosen, which subcontracted construction of the hull to the Russian shipyard Baltiysky Zavod in St Petersburg, is scheduled to deliver the second vessel at the end of this year.
