Cargotec to Supply Ship Cranes to Hyundai Mipo Dockyard

Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling solutions has received a significant order for container handling ship cranes from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co Ltd. The order is the largest crane order in MacGREGOR's history. The cranes are part of a delivery of 20 container vessels with capacity of 1,800 TEU to the German ship owner OFFEN. Delivery of the cranes will take place in 2007-2008. The value of the order is approximately USD 30 million.

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is a part of Korean Hyundai Corporation, and it is one of the major players within shipbuilding globally.
