Share Subscriptions with Cargotec 2005A and 2005B Option Rights in 2008

Cargotec option rights were granted as part of the demerged Kone Corporation's year 2004 option program. In 2008, shares can be subscribed with Cargotec option rights according to the following time schedule:
Cargotec 2005A option rights:

Cargotec's Board of Directors does not handle share subscriptions between the end of the financial period 2008 and the Annual General Meeting of 2009. Trading in the shares subscribed with the option rights will begin on the following stock exchange day after the trade register entry.
Each Cargotec option right entitles the holder to subscribe for three (3) Cargotec class B shares. The share subscription price according to the terms of the option program is EUR 8.59 per share. Share subscription period with 2005A option rights ends on March 31, 2008 and with 2005B option rights on March 31, 2009.
