We strive to create an overall environment of inclusion and tolerance at Cargotec. To strengthen this commitment, we have signed the Diversity Charter Finland. By signing the Charter, we pledge to provide equal opportunities, recognise individual know-how and needs, manage our employees and customers with fairness and communicate on our progress.

In 2023, Cargotec’s ambitious plans for developing DE&I work were put on hold due to the planned separation of Cargotec’s core businesses and the consequent shift in priorities. The company’s business areas will be responsible for deciding how they proceed with their DE&I work as future independent companies. Despite the pause, we took some steps during the year to strengthen our commitment to the topic. For example, as part of a wider update project, all of Cargotec’s human resources policies now include gender neutral pronouns.
